Clean water,
out of thin air.

ATMOS is a premium home device that makes fresh drinking water from the air. No plumbing, no bottles, solar ready. And every unit sells filters for years.

Category  Consumer water / cleantechRaising  $750k seedStage  Concept, building waitlist
01 · Problem

Drinking water is bought, bottled, and wasteful.

Households pay again and again for water that ships in plastic, sits for months, and trusts a supply chain. Tap water is distrusted, delivery is heavy, and bottled water is a environmental cost paid daily.

Bottled is wasteful

Plastic, transport, and storage for water that is mostly air freight and packaging. A recurring cost with a guilty footprint.

Tap is distrusted

Many households filter or avoid tap water, and in many places it is genuinely unsafe or hard to reach.

Off-grid is hard

Cabins, boats, balconies, and dry regions have no easy clean-water source without plumbing or delivery.

02 · Solution

Make your own water, from the air.

ATMOS cools air until its moisture condenses, then filters and mineralises it. Fresh water, made on your counter, today, with no plumbing and no bottles. It can run on the sun.

From the air

Up to two litres a day of fresh water, no source needed.

Fresh, not stored

Filtered and mineralised, made today, not shipped in plastic.

Solar ready

Runs off-grid where the sun reaches, with no bills.

Filters for years

A simple cartridge model: high-margin recurring revenue.

03 · Clean by design

Water you can trust, made fresh each day.

The worry with any water is safety. ATMOS is built around it: sealed food-grade path, multi-stage filtration, UV option, and a mineral cartridge so it tastes right, not flat.

Sealed food-grade water path, cleaned automatically.
Multi-stage filter with a UV option for peace of mind.
A mineral cartridge adds back what makes water taste good.
Made fresh daily, never sitting in plastic for months.
04 · Product

One idea, shaped for every home.

The same core, in the form that fits the spot you have. Counter, sill, balcony tower, garden stake, and an off-grid solar unit.

The core

A quiet condenser, a multi-stage filter, a mineral cartridge, and a food-grade reservoir.

Five form factors

Counter, window sill, balcony tower, garden stake, and off-grid solar.

Solar option

A solar cap and a small battery run it with no outlet and no bills.

05 · Why now & market

The parts are cheap. The market is enormous.

Efficient condensers, small solar, and controllers are now cheap enough for a home price. Meanwhile people already pay for water every day.

Market size (illustrative, bottom-up)

TAM

Bottled water plus home water treatment: hundreds of billions of dollars a year.

SAM

~40M households in humid regions who buy bottled water and want off-grid clean water.

SOM, 5-year

~0.3% of SAM, about 120k units at ~$550 plus filters = ~$90M, seeded through Yesodi.

Illustrative bottom-up estimate. Rival pricing from SOURCE, Kara, Watergen, and Kumulus listings.

06 · How it works

Air in. Clean water out.

1

Draw

A quiet fan pulls room air across a cool condenser.

2

Condense

Moisture in the air turns to water on the cold coil.

3

Filter

Multi-stage filter plus a mineral cartridge.

4

Pour

Fresh water in the reservoir, made today.

07 · Competition, pricing & why we win

Priced for a home, not a lab.

Home AWG exists, but at prices only enthusiasts pay. ATMOS brings it to a mass-market price, with a recurring filter model rivals ignore.

Against premium AWG

A quarter of the price and designed as a beautiful home object, not lab equipment.

Against bottled water

A one-time device that ends the recurring plastic bill, then sells filters instead.

The model

Sell the device, then sell filters for years. Razor and blades, high-margin and sticky.

Researched estimates from 2025-2026 listings. Humidity and climate affect output; ATMOS targets humid and temperate homes first.

08 · Business model

Sell the device. Sell filters for years.

Hardware brings the customer in; the filter and mineral cartridges are the recurring, high-margin engine. Payments via PayPal and PayerURL.

Why the filter model matters

Consumer water is a subscription business dressed as hardware. A household that owns an ATMOS buys cartridges for years, at high margin, with almost no churn because the device is already on the counter.

09 · What it really costs to build

A cheap bill of materials for a premium price.

The core parts are commodity: a condenser, a fan, a controller, a filter, and a tank. A capable open build has been done for under 50 dollars, so the home product has room to be beautiful and still profitable.

The solar model

The off-grid unit adds a solar panel and a small battery, roughly 40 dollars of BOM, and sells at 899 dollars. It carries the highest margin and opens the off-grid, cabin, and dry-region markets.

Illustrative estimates on commodity component pricing. Efficiency and water safety testing drive the real engineering work.

10 · Landed cost, tariff & margin

From parts to your door, and the margin it leaves.

Plus the recurring engine

The device margin is healthy, but the real value is the annuity of filter cartridges at ~78% margin, which compounds with every unit sold and makes the lifetime margin far better than a one-time sale.

Researched estimates. First 100-unit batch is roughly break-even; margins shown are the 1k to 10k steady state.

11 · Regulation & compliance

Drinking water is regulated. It is planned and funded.

ATMOS produces drinking water and runs on mains or solar, so it meets water-safety and electrical standards. These are well defined and treated as a funded workstream, not a footnote.

Water safety

NSF/ANSI and WQA testing for the filter and the water path, plus material safety for food-contact parts.

Electrical & EMC

UL in the US and CE in the EU for the appliance, plus FCC if it carries a radio.

Battery & solar

UN38.3 and IEC 62133 for the solar unit's battery pack and compliant shipping.

Materials

RoHS and REACH for the electronics, food-grade certification for the water path.

Claims

Careful, tested output claims by climate, so litres-per-day is honest and defensible.

Liability & import

Product liability insurance and a settled HTS code with a customs broker.

Water-safety testing and certification are funded together at about 120,000 dollars in this round, run in parallel with EVT and DVT.

12 · Advertising & go-to-market

Water from air is magic on camera.

Watching a device fill a glass from thin air is a scroll-stopping clip. Short-form video and creators do the selling, and the filter model keeps the customer for years.

14 · Traction & roadmap

Prove the output. Then scale.

Today: the concept, this deck, the product site, and a growing waitlist. This round proves real litres-per-day and water safety in homes, which unlocks the larger round.

Q1

Prototype

Build the Counter unit, verify litres-per-day by humidity, film the demo. File IP.

Q2

Certify

NSF/WQA water testing, UL/CE, EVT and DVT. Open pre-orders and take deposits.

Q3

Pilot homes

30 to 50 homes from the Yesodi network. Log real output and taste feedback.

Q4

Scale

First production run, launch filters, place the year-two order, raise the larger round.

15 · Risks & mitigations

The honest risks, and how they are managed.

Humidity dependence

Output falls in dry air. Mitigation: target humid and temperate markets first, publish honest per-climate output, and offer a mains top-up.

Energy use

Making water takes power. Mitigation: efficient compressor design and the solar model, with clear cost-per-litre numbers.

Water safety

Drinking water must be safe. Mitigation: sealed path, NSF-tested filters, UV option, funded certification.

Tariff swing

Import duty is the biggest cost variable. Mitigation: sub-assembly import and a settled HTS code with a broker.

Cheap imitators

AWG is copyable. Mitigation: brand, design, the filter lock-in, and the Yesodi distribution edge.

Adoption

A new category. Mitigation: a low entry price and demo-led marketing that proves the magic before purchase.

16 · Why it defends

The moat is the filters, the brand, and the base.

Filter subscription. Every installed unit buys cartridges for years, at high margin and low churn.
Brand and design. A beautiful home object people want on the counter, not lab gear.
Installed base. Each device is a recurring customer already in the home.
Distribution. Yesodi gives a warm, affluent first market at near-zero cost.
Output and taste data. Real per-climate performance that imitators cannot fake.
The off-grid range opens cabins, boats, and dry regions others ignore.
